Nothing can stop powerhouse Tove Lo. Not even a broken ankle. After fracturing it in the middle of her song Talking Body at her show in New York (something she, yes, danced through), Tove Lo isn’t about to let it slow her down.
Sitting in her pink throne with her bejeweled ankle boot, she made this setback nothing short of glamorous. Opening with Glad He’s Gone , she easily transitioned into Bad As The Boys where Alma joined her on stage to sing alongside her and then went straight into Cool Girl and Shifted . After this fourth song, she addressed the fans, and this sold-out crowd in St. Paul greeted her with roaring cheers. Her unapologetically raw and uncensored attitude resonates with people and allows them to connect with her and her music in a special way. Her concerts are clearly a safe space for people where they feel at ease to be fully themselves, which is something truly beautiful to witness.
