Brother Moses are an exciting and unique alternative indie band. Their addicting songs came to life in NYC last week at Rockwood Music Hall during a Communion Music showcase. It was the band’s last hometown show before they headed out for a string of winter tour dates which include stops in Texas, Iowa, and Nashville. Their latest single “What Does It Take?” was among the crowd favorites at the show. The energy was contagious considering New York is very much a hometown show for the band now despite having formed in Arkansas. Their humor and stage banter adds a special touch of personality to their set and adds a quirky energy to elevate the songs even more.
On a thoughtfully curated lineup, Brother Moses had all of the confidence a seasoned headliner. The band has come a long way since their days of playing house shows in Arkansas. It wouldn’t be surprising at all to see them take on the festival circuit by 2021.
The band is set to release their full length record Desperation Pop on March 6th. Watch the music video for “What Does It Take?” below and purchase tickets for an upcoming date of the tour here.
