New Impressions: Twin XL, New Politics, HAIM, Arrested Youth, and more

Twin XL are continuing their domination of the indie-pop sphere. They are currently out on The Mirror tour with The Maine. They’re new pink aesthetic has coincided with the release of their latest single “Messy”. The track stays true to the band’s honest lyricism and keen ear for dynamic instrumentation.

New Politics have been hard at work perfecting the newest era of their career. Now that they’re ten years deep into their journey, the band is ushering in an orange themed aesthetic. Their new track “Unstoppable” feels reminiscent of their self-titled record from 2010. The edgy screaming vocals in the verses add a strong rock element while balancing out clean vocals. It’s another phenomenal song from the band. An Invitation To An Alternate Reality is available now.

HAIM released a new music video this week for their track “Now I’m In It”. Get stuck in your feelings and watch the heartfelt music video below.
