New Impressions: Rex Orange County, Lowen, FRENSHIP, VISTA, and more!

The first full length record from Rex Orange County is here. Pony follows a path of storytelling through lyrics in a clear and introspective way. Each track offers a view into Alex O’Connor’s mind. The instrumentation seems to take a seat on the backburner for this record, but it works. It’s a great fall album and an easy listen. Watch the music video for the opening track “10/10” below and listen to “Every Way” on our New Impressions playlist.

You’ll have to wait until January 2020 to listen to the new record from Art Pop collective, Hello Forever, but in the meantime you can groove along to the new music video for “Anywhere is Everywhere”. Long Island’s best emerging alt-rock band has just released the first EP in their trilogy series. VISTA is back with The Ruins. The EP almost didn’t make it to the ears of listeners after a rocky moment in the band which almost led to their demise. The Ruins is a triumphant comeback that is ushering in the new era of the band with new sounds and their signature anthemic sound. Their new documentary “In Ruins” will also be released on November 12th.
