New Impressions: Mark Ronson, Haley Reinhart, LAYNE, Small Words, and more

The epic producer Mark Ronson teamed up with Lykke Li for his new song Late Night Feelings. The song is the title track off of his upcoming record. The groovy pop song features disco influence with a modern edge. The album is meant to be loaded with “sad bangers” and will feature collaborations from King Princess, Miley Cyrus, Camila Cabello, and more.

Haley Reinhart released her music video for Shook this week. Her soulful vocals are perfectly paired with the mesmerizing visual. Her jazz and rock tinged sound shines through on this song as her vocals leave you wanting more. The video is a “lusty, love drunk fantasy”, with that in mind feel free to watch the video on repeat just like we have.

LAYNE dropped some new tracks this week, one being the song Bad Feelings. The synth laden electro-pop tune features her staple dreamy vocals as she sings about working it out with a past flame. The two singles released this week are off of her upcoming debut full length album. Stream Bad Feelings on our New Impressions playlist and jump on the LAYNE bandwagon before she takes off.

Local Natives released an absolutely stunning visual for their song Tap Dancer. The video is simple and strong in its execution much like Local Natives intricate and mesmerizing sound. Let the video transport you to a wonderful place.

Indie rock trio, Small Words, released a touching concept album this week. Good Day, Bad Me follows four different people going through the worst year of their life. As the album touches on important topics like grief, depression, and addiction, the importance of their lyrics is eloquently highlighted by the albums instrumentation. Other honorable mentions for this week include the new single from Anderson .Paak featuring Brandy. Easily one of the most talented creators currently, Jet Black is a must listen to song this week. Cage The Elephant released the heart-wrenching single Goodbye off of their upcoming concept album. Social Cues will be release April 19th via RCA Records.
