The Mowgli’s and Jukebox The Ghost are currently out on a massive U.S. tour. Their lively sets launched good vibes and set everyone in to dance party mode. Both bands have such anthemic tunes that make singing along a must. Twin XL opened the show with their alt-pop set. Their set up included two signs that read “We are twin XL” and “You are having fun”. Though this is only their first tour as a band, the crowd was loving them and their obvious charisma and stage presence.
Jukebox The Ghost had a simple set, but it’s phenomenal to see how Ben Thornewill interacts with the crowd from the behind the piano. He has this certain look on his face that could only be described as pure joy. The band is so in synch with each other and their passion can be felt with each note.
The Mowgli’s set the room off from the first note. Opening with their smash single Say It, Just Say It instantly had the crowd roaring and singing along. It’s so apparent that the band is having the time of their life on stage and it translates so well to the crowd. Colin Dieden lures them in with his bouncy moves and while Katie Earl mesmerizes with her perfectly smooth vocals. If you have never seen The Mowgli’s live you are missing out on an impressive live band. Getting the Brooklyn kids who act like their too hip to dance to let loose is no easy feat. Unfortunately, the tour is wrapping up this weekend, but take this as a warning to not miss them the next time they are rolling through your city. View photos from all sets below.
