The Long Island music scene has bred acts like Taking Back Sunday, Billy Joel, Wheatus, and many more. This year there’s a new music festival in town that is aiming to highlight some of the best and brightest of the Long Island music scene. This year the festival is focusing on emo and pop=punk acts, but the festival’s curators are looking towards a future that embraces all Long Island acts….even the cover bands.
The two day lineup will be rocking out at Mulcahy’s Pub and Concert Hall in Wantagh, NY. The venue is conveniently located near the LIRR train station and is a short hour long commute from the city via train or car. The perfect Labor Day weekend activity for music lovers. The Saturday lineup will include performances from Wheatus, Patent Pending, and local bands like Makeshift, Parallel, Nobody’s Babe, and more! The Sunday lineup is a bit shorter, but still features great acts like John Nolan of Taking Back Sunday, Keep Flying, Summer Homes, and many more. See the full lineups below.
