Action/Adventure manage to say a lot in just a :59 second track. The Chicago based pop-punk band are another group of musicians hoping to push the envelope on diversity in the alternative scene. Their new track daringly takes on the question “Would you listen if we looked any different?”.

The shift can literally be felt as of late with the hallmark growth of bands like Meet Me @ The Altar, Pinkshift, Magnolia Park, Young Culture, and now Action/Adventure. The modern face of pop-punk is a promising one that will change the scene for the better. Watch the music video for “Barricades” below.
