The Regrettes are a standout act and their fall headlining tour just hit NYC on Monday. If you haven’t gotten a chance to experience their spunky punk rock sound for yourself be sure to check them out at a future tour date. The tour features support from Micky James and Welles. Though Welles seemed poorly placed on this tour, both opening bands sets prepped the crowd for The Regrettes infectious set. Their high energy stage presence, sassy lyrics, and key crowd interaction captivated the packed room. Lead vocalist Lydia Night led the crowd from mosh pits to dance sequences. Their care free attitude seemed to radiate throughout the room. Specifically for their younger more impressionable fans, The Regrettes are a powerful force to lead teens. The band let their punk rock sound remain true by taking a stance against rapist and abusers during their set. The Regrettes also encouraged an all female mosh pit to make girls feel comfortable in the pit.
The Regrettes are raising money for RAINN a foundation that supports victims of rape and sexual assault. Watch the lyric video for Poor Boy and donate here.
